National parks India provide a great opportunity to the visitors to be familiar with some of rare wildlife found in Indian subcontinent. Most famous national park of India includes - Corbett national park (uatarakhand) well known for tiger reserve in India, ranthmbor national park(Rajasthan), Sunderbans national park (west Bengal), kaziranga national park (aasam ), Bandhavgarh in centeral India, Periyar in Kerala, Gir in Gujarat

Corbett national park (Uatrakhand)

Corbett is among one of the finest & oldest national park of India. The park was established in 1936 & declared as tiger reserve in 1973 by government of India. Corbett is famous for a wide variety of wild animals, birds & its Natural beauty of Himalayan foothills. It is well-known tiger reserve and famous for elephant safari & jeep safari.

Best time for visit:-

November to June is the best time for visit Corbett national park. Oct. to Feb. is best time for bird watching & March to June is best time for animal sighting.

Ranthambor national park (Rajasthan):-

Ranthambor national park is well-known and biggest national park of northern India. The park is located in sawai madhopur Dis. of Rajasthan state. It was hunting ground for royal family of jaipur. The park is famous wild attraction for tourist.

The park spreads in an area of 134 sq km. the park is providing pleasure for wildlife and nature lover. There are few lake in the park which are home of diverse bird spices. Jogi mahal and paddam Tal are other important attraction of park. Now the park is tiger reserve under project tiger of India.

Best time of visit:-
September to May is best time to visit this park. Because weather is calm in this time so tourist can see without any distress due to the weather. The park remains closed during monsoon season.


Gir national park (Gujarat):-

Gir national parks located in junagarh dis Of Gujarat state. The park was established in 18th sep.1965 and it is spread in 2450 hectares.

The park is famous for Asiatic lion also the last home of for them. There are lots of spice of bird in this park like- grcy francolin, Asian paradise, tawny eagle and many others so the park is also wealthy in bird life. Flora and fauna of the forest is an important biological area of scientific, educational and recreational values.

Best time for visit:-

Late November to march is the best time for visit this park

Kaziranga national park (Assam):-

The park located on the near of brahmputra river it is a world heritage site and a project tiger of UNESCO. The park spread in 430sq.km. There are1000 one horned rhinos in this park so it is well-known for Indian one horned rhinos. Wild buffalo is a best attraction of kaziranga national park.kakochang waterfall is the best place of this park it is spread in 13km area of the park. Tourist can do interior visit of this park by elephant and jeep safari.

Best time for visit:-

November to April is ideal time for visit this park.


Sunder ban national park (west Bengal):-

The park is the largest mangrove forest of the world here is large quantity of sundari plants so its name derived sunder ban at sundari plant. Kaziranga Park declared national park in 1978 and it become tiger reserve in 1973.the main attraction of this park is royal Bengal tiger. There are 250 tigers in this park. Sajanlhali place of the park is best attraction for birds seeing here is 07 colorful spices of bird.
